I am an editor and visual reporter at The New York Times. My work encompasses writing, directing, design, photography, branding, and production.

I also specialize in book design for cultural institutions and creators, with works in the permanent collections of MoMA, Tate Modern, the NY Public Library, The Photographers' Gallery London, C/O Berlin, and Kunsthal Charlottenborg. For more insight, see my interview with Aperture Foundation.

In addition to my research and teaching, I’ve serve as a visiting professor and lecturer at the University of the Arts London, Geneva University of Art and Design, Academy of Fine Arts Nürnberg, OCAD University in Toronto, and the School of Visual Arts in New York.
